In 2018, I took a leap of faith and opened Laurie Gurr Beauty. Being in this industry is full of adventure, challenges and amazing people. I am constantly inspired by other artists and am always striving to be better then I was the day before. My goal is to give you the best beauty services that I possibly can with my knowledge, practice, and commitment to my craft. My passion is hair color and handtied extensions transformations! I love taking the time to help my clients reach their desired end goal.
As much as I love my career, there is so much more to my life than just doing hair! I have a 100 acre farm with my wonderful, supportive, and amazingly talented husband, Doug. He's been a tremendous help to me during my journey of entrepreneurship. If you like something in the salon, chances are he probably built it! At some point you will probably hear me talk about our all of our animals. Our dogs, Finn, Bubba, and Roxy keep us on our toes and bring us so much joy. We also have two horses, Raven and Nelly. We have been enjoying life in the country and if I'm not at the salon, we are more then likely spending time with our fur babies, working on our 162 year old farm house, and working on our property!​
